Summer Walkabout and Emporium Anniversary

The Space Travelers Emporium will again open it’s doors for the summer evening South Park Walkabout.

This open house is a special one for the Space Travelers Emporium as it marks our First Anniversary! To celebrate, we’re having cake!

Another Emporium special feature of this Walk About is an informal discussion and signing by Dan Linehan for his newly released book Burt Rutan’s Race to Space. Dan also wrote SpaceShipOne: An Illustrated History. Visit his website at dslinehan.com for more info.

And we’ll bring out the Mars suit and our Mars Astronaut will be walking around greeting people and will be available for photos. We’ll have the Mars rover yard and special Emporium sales all night.

“The crew enlists the help of an elite computer hacker nicknamed “Radical Edward” to help them track down a bounty-head who has been vandalizing Earth’s surface with hacked laser satellites. However, when they finally meet Edward face-to-face, the hacker’s true identity proves to be a surprise for everybody.”

Showtime is 7:00pm at Studio 106 in the Art Union Building at 2323 Broadway 92102 (the Golden Hill area just east of downtown San Diego). Admission is FREE, and popcorn is provided (you can bring snacks or drinks to share).
