SpaceX Succeeds!

December 8th was an historic day for SpaceX, the Falcon 9 and the Dragon capsule in it’s COTS 1 demo flight. Online articles, videos, blogs and tweets filled the news yesterday like very few days in space history. And by all accounts, the entire mission was 100% successful. This is great achievement for the start of commercial space flight. And it was very exciting to see it turn out so well.

Here are a couple of excellent articles if you missed the big day itself:

The San Diego Space Society would like to join the chorus in congratulating Elon and the entire SpaceX team on a job very well done! We look forward to more SpaceX successes and the exciting space exploration future opening for all.
