RocketFest 2010

Sun, Jul 11, 2010

10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Location:
Morley Field (map)
Texas St and J St, San Diego, CA

**Note New Time**
We’re celebrating the anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing with rocket launches and a picnic lunch. Bring your own lunch and blanket; we’ll provide a launch pad and help you turn soda bottles and paper into awesome water and air rockets. We will also have member’s model rocket projects on display – from our DART Rocketry participation.

We’ll choose a picnic spot at the north end of Morley Field. Park in the lot near Texas and J St and look for the SD Space tent canopy. Email events@sdspace.org if you have any questions, or if you have empty 2-liter soda bottles to donate to the event.

Afterward, join us for the July Program Meeting – Tom Swift in Space.
