Yuri’s Night San Diego

Sat, Apr 10, 2010

5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Location:
Killer Pizza From Mars (map)
3772 Mission Ave #M, Oceanside, CA

Join us for the biggest event on the SD Space social calendar: a World Space Party!

Yuri’s Night is a celebration of humanity’s achievements in space. Each April, people from around the world come together to mark the anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight into space (in 1961) and the first launch of the US Space Shuttle (in 1981). Everyone can participate, so come and join us in celebrating our past–and our future–in outer space!

A donation of $10 per person is suggested to help cover costs. If you plan to be there, please RSVP to events@sdspace.org so we can better estimate the size of the crowd.

We are international so have members in San Diego. You do not have to be a member of Mensa to join. Being a friend of Mensa is fine. SIG is free, no dues, just sincere interest in space exploration.

Had fun at there! Got free tickets to Hubble 3D and Moon and Mars simulated soil samples. Saw some fun videos and rocket launches.
