GeekDad Launches “This Week In Space”

Wired GeekDadOur friends over at the Wired GeekDad blog have started a new feature called This Week In Space:

Every week we’ll try to capture as many planned launch events, landing events, activities with different missions, and other activities as we can.  We’ll never capture everything but hopefully we will consistently give our readers a resource for educational activities, events, and other information.

This week’s post, compiled by Brian McLaughlin, gives a taste of upcoming launches, Hubble observations, ISS status, and Mars Exploration Rover updates. It looks like a good (brief) reminder of some of the exciting things happening now in space. Since it’s GeekDad, too, we expect they will work in some kid-friendly activities in the future.
