eaglenebulam16Celebrate the 2009 International Year of Astronomy at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center’s annual Astronomy Day! You can embark on their annual “Walk Through the Solar System,” take a walk on the moon with Mar Vista Middle School students and The Astronaut Teacher Alliance, take a 3-D tour of the latest images from NASA, sun gaze with the San Diego Astronomy Association on the Prado, enter a drawing to win prizes, join a simulated mission to Mars in the Nierman Challenger Learning Center, and much more.

Pre-registration required for the simulated mission to Mars, additional fees apply, click here for more information. Most activities will be available from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
