The next general meeting of the San Diego Space Society will be held on Sunday, March 9th, 2008 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Studio 106 downtown. Anyone interested in space exploration is encouraged to attend.

The interim board (Jesse Clark, Dave Dressler, and Chris Radcliff) met via teleconference on February 20 to draft a set of chapter bylaws. We used the bylaws of the Orange County Space Society as a guideline, and made adjustments as necessary to suit the San Diego branch. These bylaws will be sent to the NSS as part of our chapter documentation.

The first exploratory meeting was held at Studio 106 downtown on February 10th, starting at 4:00pm. About a dozen people attended. The stated goal was to discuss and organize a National Space Society (NSS) chapter for San Diego.
